Deputy Minority Leader Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has said that hard work and clearly communication of the party’s messages is what will help the National Democratic Congress (NDC) win the election.
The party will just do that, he said.
Asked how the NDC is approaching the elections this year, the Ellembelle lawmaker told TV3’s Komla Klutse in Tamale during the launch of the NDC campaign that “hard work and basically making sure that we communicate clearly to the people of Ghana, not only of our past achievements but what is ahead of us. The hole we are in as a country and what we must do to help President Mahama to reset Ghana.
“We are determined, and suited, with God on our side we will succeed.”
For his part, the Minority Chief Whip Kwame Agbodza said that the Northern Region has been one of the most important regions for the NDC.
He says the NDC has enjoyed a lot of support from the people of the Region. The party, on the other hand, has also ensured the development of the region whenever it formed a government, he added.
The Adaklu lawmaker said the region will see more development under a Mahama administration.
Speaking to TV3’s Komla Klutse during the launch of the NDC campaign in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, he said “The northern region is one of the most significant regions in our party history. Our flagbearer comes from this area, we have a lot of support where, we have focused efforts on lifting our people out of poverty in this region by the provision of critical interventions in the past, we are going to do more in the future.
“The most significant things you can see in this region, the roads, the airport, and everything have been part of this. intervention in water supply and agriculture however there is a lot more we need to do God willing when President Mahama becomes the president.
“We know our opponents have been trying to derail us here something but we are going to do whatever is to get them to focus on our messages.”
