John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on supporters in strongholds of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to reconsider their political choices and back the NDC in the upcoming elections.

During a campaign tour in the Ahafo Region, Mahama pledged that the NDC would prioritize development projects that benefit all Ghanaians, regardless of political affiliation.

He highlighted the NDC’s infrastructure successes, including the construction of colleges of education in 2015, as evidence of the party’s commitment to national progress.

Mr. Mahama also stressed that, the NDC’s plans to tackle pressing issues like unemployment and the rising cost of living, urging voters to focus on solutions rather than political loyalty in the upcoming polls.

“Everyone seeks development, and the NDC is the party that consistently delivers. We ensure equal opportunities and don’t discriminate based on votes. The colleges of education we built in 2015 are proof of that.”

“Your ancestors who aligned with the other party are no longer here. You are the ones facing the current struggles. So let’s move beyond historical affiliations and vote for progress and leaders who can transform our lives for the better,” he said.
