The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has said the party deeply values the indispensable contribution of its youth.
Mr. Kwetey made the comments on Saturday following the inauguration of the NDC Youth Wing Secretariat in Accra.
The state-of-the-art facility is aimed at coordinating and strengthening the work of the party’s youth ahead of the 2024 elections.
In a post on X, the General Secretary congratulated the National Youth Organizer George Opare Addo and the National Youth Wing on the new secretariat.
He said: “As a party, we deeply value the indispensable contribution of the youth to both our party and our nation.”
Mr. Kwetey added that the secretariat “will serve as a platform to harness the innovative ideas and perspectives that the youth bring to the table as we work towards change come December 7, 2024.”
