Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has implored Ghanaians without voter ID Cards but eligible to vote to register for their card when the Electoral Commission begins its exercise.
The EC will commence this year’s limited voter registration exercise on Tuesday, May 7, ahead of the December 7 general elections.
According to the Commission, permanent centres will be set up at the District offices while mobile teams would be used to register eligible applicants in the difficult to access Electoral Areas.
In a short statement on the upcoming limited registration exercise, John Dramani Mahama urged all those eligible to take advantage to get registered.
He said this is important to vote for change in the 2024 general elections to help him shape the future of Ghana.
“Do you want to see real CHANGE in Ghana? Do you want to help build the Ghana we all want? Then you must register with the Electoral Commission if you are not yet a registered voter. Your vote for John Mahama and the NDC on December 07, 2024, is crucial in shaping the future of our country.
“Don’t miss out on your chance to make a difference. Register to vote and be a part of the change we all want to see,” John Dramani Mahama said in a post on Facebook.
