Former President John Dramani Mahama has raised serious concerns over the alleged abandonment of a patient in a bush near Gomoa Ojobi in the Central Region.
The incident gained attention on Thursday, June 13, after a video surfaced online allegedly showing a woman, covered in sheets, abandoned in a bush.
Reports indicate that the woman was left there by an ambulance from the Trauma and Specialist Hospital in Winneba.
In an X post on Saturday, the former president lamented the nation’s humanity decline and pondered its cause.
He also remarked on the power of electoral decisions to significantly alter policy, governance, and the national trajectory.
“This is how low we’ve sunk. Cry for our beloved country, which is bleeding terribly. Throwing a sick patient with P.O.P on both legs into the bush? How did we get here?”
“Elections have consequences!,” he emphasised.
