Ghanaian boxer and entertainer Bukom Banku has criticized President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration, stating the country is in a dire state due to poor leadership.

In an interview on Class FM’s ‘Class Morning’ Show, Bukom Banku accused the president of mismanaging the economy and depleting national resources.

“Nana Akufo-Addo cannot run the country,” he remarked, further alleging that the president is “selling off Ghana’s assets and everything.”

The outspoken personality lamented the widespread economic hardship, saying, “Ghana is like an empty can now. No food, no water, no jobs. The youth are suffering.”

Bukom Banku also took aim at the ruling New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) ambitions to secure a third consecutive term in office, commonly referred to as “breaking the eight.”

He warned that such a scenario would spell disaster for the nation, asking, “And they claim they will break the eight. Do they want trouble in Ghana or what?”

His comments reflect the growing frustration among Ghanaians over the current economic situation, with many questioning the government’s ability to steer the country back on track.
