The Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has presented two hundred thousand Ghana cedis (GHC200,000.00) to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The donation forms part of her support to the flagbearer, John Mahama and the NDC as whole in preparing towards winning the December 7 election.
Madam Affo-Toffey made the donation during a fund-raising exercise organized by the Western Regional Caucus of the NDC.
Former President Mahama and some NDC stalwarts graced the occasion.
The NDC flagbearer, John Mahama said the amount will be used for party activities in the Western Region.
The Western Regional Chairman of the Fundraising Committee who is also the MP for Ellembelle, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah expressed happiness about the event.
He said, “as the chairman of the Western Regional Fund-Raising Committee, I am delighted with the outcome and confident that it will significantly boost our campaign’s momentum in the Region”.
Mr. Armah-Buah said “with the renewed energy and determination, the Western Region is poised to deliver a resounding victory for John Mahama and the NDC in the December 7th general election”.
