The campaign spokesperson of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, Joyce Bawah Mogtari has descended on naysayers over speculations on John Mahama’s health.
In an interview on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem Monday, Madam Mogtari said there is nothing wrong with Mr Mahama.
According to her, the claim of the former President being sick is a mere propaganda tool which must not be entertained.
“There is absolutely nothing with Mahama. He is in perfect health and even this morning he was at the gym. He sleeps for less than 4 hours and the campaign is not an easy task even for a young person so there is a lot going on,” she stated.
Madam Mogtari emphasised that the NDC will not be distracted and will remain focused on its mission to win the December 7 election, reset and build the Ghana citizens desire.
“We are on the battleground fighting for the poor, unemployed and a whole lot so this is not the time to look good. Mr Mahama is in top form and shape. We won’t focus our energy on these things to drain us,” she stated.
On claims that the former President is a drunkard, she rebutted “If you drink on a campaign trail, do you think you will be consistent, coherent and in the right frame of mind? It is mere propaganda and should be ignored.”
