The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle, Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has officially submitted his nomination form for re-election as Member of Parliament (MP), to the Electoral Commission (EC) in Nkroful.
The submission marked his formal entry into the 2024 parliamentary race as he sought to extend his tenure and continue representing the people of Ellembelle.
Accompanied by a large crowd of enthusiastic supporters, local party officials, and community leaders, Mr Kofi Buah arrived at the EC’s office at 1130 hours to complete the nomination process.
Some of the party supporters carried placards with inscriptions, “Ellembelle Anyelazo,” Vote for Proven Track Record of Excellence,” The Less Privileged Thank You for The Ellembelle Food Bank,” The Rebirth of Dr Kwame Nkrumah,” The Man Behind the Ghana Gas Project,” among others.
Addressing party supporters at the EC’s office at Nkroful, Mr Kofi Buah expressed gratitude to his constituents for their continuous support over the years and vowed to keep championing development in the Constituency.
Some party supporters who spoke to the Ghana News Agency, expressed confidence in his re-election, citing his track record and commitment to the development of the area.
The Electoral Commission is expected to announce the full list of candidates for the Ellembelle constituency in the coming days.
