The Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Old Tafo Chapter, Sahmudeen Mohammed Kamil has donated 50 bags of cement to the Pankrono Zongo community.

This was made in fulfillment of a promise he and the party Regional Chairman, Augustus Nana Kwasi, made during a recent campaign in the area.

The donation, aimed at supporting the construction of the Pankrono Zongo Central Mosque. It was received by the Zongo Chief, Imam, and residents of the community.

“We are happy to support the construction of the Pankrono Zongo Central Mosque, an important project for the community,” Mr Kamil said.

He assured that, as a party representative, he would serve the people with impartiality, focusing on constituency development and the well-being of all residents, regardless of their religious or political affiliations.

“As a representative of the NDC, I am committed to serving the people and contributing to the development of our constituency,” he added.

The Zongo Chief, expressing his gratitude, said, the donation was timely to help in the construction of the mosque.

“We are grateful for the support of Sahmudeen and the NDC. This donation will go a long way in completing the mosque, which will serve as a central place of worship and community gathering,” he added.

The Deputy Chief Imam for the area, Abdullah Yahaya assured that the party’s hard work will bear fruit and offered blessings for their sustained commitment to serving the community.

“We pray for the success of Lawyer Sahmudeen Mohammed Kamil and the NDC party. May their efforts be rewarded, and may they continue to support our community,” he prayed.

The NDC said the donation was part of the party’s commitment to community development and its dedication to serving the people.

Sahmudeen reaffirmed their commitment to serving the constituents and fulfilling their needs once the party wins the December election.

The Pankrono Zongo community has been facing challenges in completing the construction of their central mosque, and the donation was a boost to their efforts.

The community was eager to see the project completed, and the NDC’s support has brought them closer to achieving their goal.
