“Look let these people go home and let them reflect on their incompetence and lacklustre performance,” these were the words of Yapei-Kusawgu MP, John Jinapor as he urged Ghanaians to vote decisively against the current government in the December polls.
According to him, change in the 2024 election is a necessity and Ghanaians must therefore ensure the NDC’s overwhelming victory.
Speaking on Asempa FM Ekosii Sen, programme Thursday, the former Deputy Power Minister said the NPP has had its chance but took Ghanaians for granted.
However, he believes eight years is long enough for the NPP to bow out of government and make way for the NDC to reset the economy on the right path.
Mr Jinapor added that, voting the NPP out will help the party reflect on its performance over the years.
“They need to reflect on their performance so that next time if you get the opportunity, you will perform.
“When you lose an election, you don’t concede you do a lot of retrospection and it’s the same for every party so let these guys go home; eight years is enough,” he said.
He continued, “Our time one gallon of diesel was GH₵14 but now a litre is GH₵15. Look at the rate of increment and check the minimum wage which has increased by just about 200% but the litre has increased more than 400%.
“The average Ghanaian is poorer than before. Unemployment and inflation are in double digits.”
