A Deputy Ranking Member on the Education Committee of Parliament, Dr. Clement, has taken a swipe at the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
Dr. Apaak, an academic and spokesperson for the former President John Dramani Mahama campaign on education, criticised the former education minister for making a U-turn over the number of E-Blocks Mr. Mahama committed before leaving office.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has in a recent campaign activity claimed that the former NDC government under Mr. Mahama completed only 28 of the E-Blocks.
This was in sharp contrast to what he had said in the past: that the number of schools constructed by the NDC was 48.
Reacting to this, Dr. Apaak slammed his saying, saying he has learnt from the presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is known to peddle lies.
Dr. Apaak indicated in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that the running mate and how boss have no integrity or any form of sincerity.
Dr. Apaak Innhsi tweeted about two photos, one of which was published by the Daily Graphic on March 7, 2017, where the running mate of the NPP had said the completed E-Blocks under Mahama were 48, and the second story in which he is referred to said it was 28 and published by Ghanaweb.
The tweet read: “As an Education Minister in 2017, NAPO rightly acknowledged that the Mahama led NDC government completed 46 E-blocks. As a running mate in 2024, he now says NDC completed 28 E-blocks. It is now obvious that the NPP running mate has been badly infected with his Flagbearer’s lying disease. Integrity and sincerity must count.”
