A leading member of the Upper West Regional Campaign Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) responsible for the Wa Central Constituency, Alhaji Hudu Mogtari, has urged voters to choose former President John Dramani Mahama and Dr. Rashid Pelpuo in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections set for December 7, 2024.

He argues that the NDC flagbearer, John Mahama, has the ‘magic wand’ to navigate the current economic challenges compared to his counterpart, Dr. Bawumia.

“I bring you greetings from His Excellency John Mahama and National Chairman Asiedu Nketia. They encourage all of you to gather courage and endure the last few months of this incompetent government led by Nana Addo and Bawumia. We all acknowledge the hardships we experience as a result of bad governance.

“So, our job is simple: vote number 8 for John Mahama to enable him to come to power and continue his Nation Building agenda,” Alhaji Hudu made the remarks during an engagement with artisans at Wa Central.

Alhaji Hudu further encouraged constituents to vote massively for the Wa Central NDC parliamentary candidate, Dr. Rashid Pelpuo.

He noted that John Mahama would need a majority in parliament to execute his transformational plans.

Alhaji Hudu said, “It is also incumbent on us to vote for Rashid Pelpuo to complete the change we want. So, vote for John Mahama and Dr. Rashid Pelpuo.”

The delegation included Asaadeen Nanjo, Prince Mahamud, Wa Central constituency Chairman Famina, and Professor Hamidatu Dramani.

The Upper West regional leadership of the NDC has constituted teams tasked with spearheading campaigns in all eleven constituencies.

This forms part of the overall plan to win all parliamentary seats in the region.
