Parliament has announced the commencement of registration for Members of Parliament-elect of the 9th Parliament of the 4th Republic.
The registration process begins on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, with an online exercise, followed by physical registration scheduled from January 2 to January 6, 2025.
A statement issued on December 24 detailed the registration process, indicating that targeted messages would be sent to Members-elect via WhatsApp or email with necessary instructions.
“Physical registration will start on Thursday, January 2, 2025, and end on January 6, 2025,” the statement added.
For clarifications or assistance, Members-elect are encouraged to contact the registration officers.
The statement further indicated logistical arrangements, stating, “Honorable members will be conveyed by bus from the premises of Parliament to the Independence Square at 8 a.m. prompt.”
This registration exercise marks a critical step in the preparation for the inauguration of the 9th Parliament of the 4th Republic.
