Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has stressed why it is important for Ghanaians to vote for him as President in the 2024 General Election.
In a short statement, the former president said a vote for him and the NDC is a vote to shape the future of Ghana and prioritise the needs of the people.
He said his government shall safeguard the interest of citizens by ensuring that no one is left behind but saved from the hardships in the country.
“Just as the umbrella shields us from the rain and sun, so shall my government safeguard the interests of every citizen, ensuring that no one is left out in a storm of hardship and uncertainty.
“Your vote for John Mahama and the ubiquitous NDC Umbrella on December 7th is not just a vote; it is a powerful tool for change to shape the future of our nation,” John Dramani Mahama said in a post on Facebook.
The former president continued, “It is a vote for a government that will prioritise your needs, protect your rights, and Build the Ghana we want together.
“Join me under the umbrella, and let’s embark on a journey of growth, inclusivity, and progress that will create Jobs and ensure Accountability and Prosperity.”
John Dramani Mahama remains confident that Ghanaians will elect him as president on December 7.
While he continues his campaign to convince the electorates, he faces strong competition from the Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
