Following the decision by the Functional Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to annul the parliamentary primary conducted on the 13th of May 2023 in Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe has announced her intention to run again for the party’s parliamentary candidacy in the constituency.

Cudjoe in a statement on Thursday, noted that the “rerun presents us with a renewed opportunity to come together and build a stronger Amenfi Central. I remain deeply committed to our shared vision of progress, development, and empowerment for all.”

“With your trust and support, I will continue to advocate for better education, infrastructure, healthcare, and economic opportunities that will uplift every corner of our constituency.”

However, she noted that she could not do it alone.

“We need the support of everyone—our youth, women, men, elders, and all stakeholders—to make this vision a reality. Together, we can overcome the challenges before us and create lasting change that benefits the entire community.”

“I humbly ask for your vote, your prayers, and your support as we embark on this important journey. Let us unite, reset the course of Amenfi Central, and work towards the future we all deserve,” she further stated.
