The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ashaiman Constituency, Hon. Ernest Henry Norgbe, has been praised by the Constituency’s Communication Officer, Mr. Joseph Awuku, for his efforts in improving road infrastructure in the area.

Speaking on Adekye Mu Nsem on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Mr. Awuku acknowledged that the MP has been using his funds to resurface major roads in the constituency, despite the government’s alleged neglect of the area.

Mr. Awuku expressed concern over the deplorable state of roads in the municipality and the seeming lack of attention from the Municipal Chief Executive and the government.

He emphasized that the MP’s efforts are commendable, but the primary responsibility of road construction lies with the government, not the MP.

Mr. Awuku also criticized the government’s handling of the economy, citing the recent bailout of collapsed banks and microfinance institutions.

He urged the government to prioritize the needs of the ordinary citizen and address the challenges facing the country.

Overall, the story highlights the efforts of the MP to improve road infrastructure in the Ashaiman Constituency and the concerns of the Constituency’s Communication Officer regarding the government’s alleged neglect of the area and its handling of the economy. The Communication officer said in an interview with Nana Dogbe.
