The National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai constituency, Mr. Bright Asamoah Brefo has submitted his nomination forms to the Electoral Commission (EC) to contest the 2024 parliamentary elections.

The short ceremony was held at the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal office of the EC.

The filing ceremony was done in a serene atmosphere without funfair, apparently to signify the candidate’s humility and simple lifestyle.

Mr. Brefo said since 2004 the seat has been with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and promised that with his able party executives and members, they would unseat the current NPP MP, who is also the NPP’s parliamentary candidate for Election 2024.

Mr. Brefo said: “This is the time we must work hard, unite to win back our seat”.

He tasked his constituents to vote for Mr. John Dramani Mahama and himself to improve the standard of living in the constituency.

He was accompanied by the Constituency Chairman Nana Yaw Berimah, Mr. Joseph Ayambilla, Constituency Secretary and other party members in the constituency.
