General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Kwetey, has described the upcoming December presidential and parliamenatry elections as one between Ghana and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The Chief Scribe of the umbrella family indicated that it will not be an easy task for the NDC to kick out the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in this year’s elections.
In his view, it will require a lot of work to vote out the NPP.
Speaking during the launch of the NDC campaign in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, 2024, Mr. Kwetey said “ the election is a battle between Ghana and NPP…taking out of the NPP is not going to be easy because they know that once they are out, punishment will follow them, and they know they will be prosecuted for corruption.
“Because of that they are going to do everything possible to steal the votes, so we need to be extra vigilant. The job ahead is not an easy job but we promise you we shall deliver.”
