National Deputy Women’s Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dzifa Tegah’s initiative to tackle the issue of rejected ballots in the Volta Region, is gaining significant traction as the general elections approach.

The campaign, aimed at reducing the number of spoiled ballots, has resonated strongly with the local electorate, political stakeholders, and civil society organizations.

Speaking to prospective voters in Abor, Dzifa Tegah emphasized the importance of addressing the issue of rejected ballots as a key factor for NDC’s success in the upcoming elections.

“Tackling Spoilt ballots, especially in the Volta Region, will significantly boost NDC chances in the upcoming election and I am imploring each and every one of you to be mindful when casting a ballot to avoid damaging the ballot,” she stated.

Earlier, Dzifa Tegah, along with the Volta Regional Women’s Organizer of the NDC, Fafa Agbai, visited Weta, Dabala, Denu, Agbozome, and other areas in Ketu South with the “Reduce Rejected Ballots Campaign.” These visits included direct interactions with voters, reinforcing the campaign’s message and providing practical advice on how to vote correctly.
