The Eastern Regional Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) kicked off its community engagement tour on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, with a visit to the Nkawkaw Constituency.

The campaign train was led by Regional Chairman, Dr. Mark-Oliver Kevor, and other executives.

The team visited six communities in the constituency, engaging with residents and voters to promote the party’s candidates, including H.E. John Dramani Mahama for President and Frederick Somuah Obeng for Nkawkaw Constituency MP.

The executives explained key policies of the next NDC government, effective January 2025, as well as specific developmental initiatives for the Nkawkaw constituency.

Other executives present at the event included the Regional Secretary, two Regional Vice Chairmen, the Regional Organizer, the Deputy Regional Treasurer, the Regional Zongo Caucus Coordinator, two Deputy Regional Youth Organizers, and the Deputy Regional Elections/IT Director.

The campaign team will continue its tour in Abetifi and Mpraeso constituencies on Thursday before concluding Phase one of the engagement.

The second phase is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 30, 2024.
