Former Madina MP Alhaji Amadu Bukari Sorogho has urged every member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to take charge of their own campaign efforts in the upcoming elections.
He emphasized that unity and hard work are crucial for the party to defeat the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and secure victory in December.
Speaking on Ahotor FM’s morning show ‘Adekyee Mu Nsem’, Alhaji Sorogho expressed confidence in the newly announced NDC Campaign Team, calling it strong and capable of winning power in the upcoming polls.
The NDC has unveiled its National Campaign Team for the 2024 General Elections, scheduled for December.
This team, responsible for both presidential and parliamentary campaigns, includes prominent figures such as Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, Dr. Joseph Yasmin, Richard Quashiga, and Sammy Gyamfi.
Overseeing the campaign efforts is the Campaign Steering Committee, which includes notable leaders like Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia and Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo.
They will coordinate closely with the party’s flag-bearer, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, ensuring effective strategy execution.
Alhaji Amadu Sorogho, now leading the NDC’s Zongo Caucus Media and Outreach, stressed the importance of grassroots efforts.
He called on all NDC members to act as their own campaign officers within their constituencies, focusing on hard work and avoiding complacency at all levels.
