It is imperative for all loyal members and grassroots supporters of the National Democratic Congress to unite in a concerted effort and embrace teamwork to secure victory in the upcoming December 7th elections. This endeavor aims to rescue Ghana from the under-performance of the current New Patriotic Party government.

Analyzing the results of the recent District Assembly Elections in Ledzokuku and Krowor, it is evident that the party has secured a majority of the seats. This achievement can significantly enhance the leadership of John Dramani Mahama, provided that the party’s grassroots work diligently to attain power and assume control of all assemblies in the forthcoming government.

Former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Honorable Ofosu Ampofo, emphasized this during his tour of various parts of the Greater Accra region.

The tour encompassed visits to Ledzokuku, Krowor, Tema East, West, and Central electoral limited voter registration centers, culminating at the Ashaiman registration center.

Over the course of the 21-day limited voter registration exercise, the projected figures from Tema Central and East are as follows:

Total registered: 3933 potential voters
Gender breakdown:
Female: 2083
Male: 1851
Categories of registration:
Guarantor: 2233
Passport holders: 28
Ghana Card holders: 1672
Challenges: 103 applicants faced challenges on various grounds.
Moving forward, the electoral officers recorded the following figures at the Ashaiman Electoral Commission office limited voter registration center:

Male: 2214
Female: 1790
Total: 4009

Krowor Electoral Commission; Total 2873

Male;1381

Ghana Card;1107

Ledzokuku Electoral Commission figures as follows;

Total; 3671

Ghana Card; 1503

Passport; 16

Guarantors; 2152

Hon. Ampofo reiterated the importance of prioritizing the political realm, emphasizing unity among party members to surmount any internal disagreements within the constituency. He urged everyone to work selflessly with a unified spirit to secure victory for the party.

He stressed that every vote matters and encouraged the party base to motivate people to register and participate in the December polls. This, he believes, is crucial to exercising their democratic rights and ushering in a new government under the National Democratic Congress.

Furthermore, he emphasized that this endeavor presents a significant opportunity for party members to reinstate the visionary leadership of John Dramani Mahama. Mahama’s commitment to job creation, economic opportunities, and positive economic reforms remains vital for Ghana’s progress and prosperity.
