The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has called for a shift from the traditional 8-hour workday to a 24-hour economy.
Speaking at the NDC Youth Manifesto launch at the University of Professional Studies, Accra, Mahama argued that Ghana’s economy should not stall after 5 pm, highlighting the need to address youth unemployment.
The former President also pledged to reduce data costs and provide free Wi-Fi in schools as part of the party’s plans.
