Joseph Boateng (Bola), a member of the Central Regional communication team for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is urging Ghanaians not to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections.
He believes that Ghana’s economy will worsen if the NPP is given another term.
Speaking on Ahotor FM’s Simpieso show with host Emmanuel Martey, Bola criticized the NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for his inability to make firm governance decisions.
Bola pointed out that Ghanaians have suffered under the NPP’s eight-year rule, affecting even those living abroad.
He argued that Dr. Bawumia, despite being an economist, has failed to improve the economic situation.
He highlighted the unbearable conditions in Ghana, mentioning that the Akufo-Addo administration’s free SHS policy has not alleviated the pressure, and expatriates still feel the financial strain from supporting relatives back home.
Bola asserted that the NPP’s failure to solve the country’s economic crisis shows Dr. Bawumia’s lack of economic expertise.
He urged the electorate to support John Dramani Mahama’s 24-hour policy, which he claims is helping people living abroad.
