Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has described Ghanaian youth as not just the future leaders; but the change makers of today.
She said the passion, innovation, and dedication of the youth to improving the world fills her with hope and determination.
She, thus, called on all to continue to support and empower Ghana’s young people, providing them with the tools and opportunities they need to flourish.
She advised all the young people to keep dreaming, keep striving, and keep making their voices heard.
The former education minister said these in a Facebook post to mark International Youth Day, on Monday, 12 August, an occasion the NDC use to launch their youth manifesto which was followed by a youth-led town hall meeting with the party’s flagbearer John Dramani Mahama.
