The Greater Accra Regional Chapter of Creative for NDC has officially launched its campaign recently, led by Regional Chairman Robert Nana Koduah and championed by National Chairman Mr. Haruna Seidu Soale.
The event brought together notable figures from the creative industry, all united in their commitment to enhancing the creative sector in Ghana.
Robert Nana Koduah welcomed attendees from across the all the regions of Ghana. He emphasized the importance of unity, stating, “Unity is our strength, our driving force, and the foundation upon which we will build our campaign.” Koduah called for
collaboration among creatives to amplify their voices and support the NDC’s mission in the upcoming elections.
Vision for a Thriving Creative Economy
Mr. Soale outlined key initiatives aimed at fostering a robust creative industry, including:
Establishment of Creative Hubs: Advocating for dedicated spaces for artists to collaborate and showcase their work.
Funding and Grants: Pushing for increased government support specifically for the creative industries.
Skill Development Programs: Implementing training initiatives to equip creatives with the necessary skills for success in a digital landscape.
Freelance digital Initiatives: Developing and implementing a digital ecosystem within the creative sector in order to create demand and supply for jobs, opportunities and networking.
Addressing Current Challenges
Both Mr. Koduah and Mr. Haruna Seidu Soale addressed the challenges faced by the creative sector
under the current government, the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Mr. Soale noted, “While they may tout superficial initiatives, they have neglected our industry,” calling for a united front to demand better support and infrastructure.
A New Dawn with John Dramani Mahama Mr. Koduah stressed the potential for a strong come back with John Dramani Mahama as president, asserting, “If given the opportunity once more, John Mahama will not only outperform his past achievements but will also leave a lasting legacy across all sectors, particularly in the creative sector.”

The event also featured speeches from several notable figures, including:
Kwame Okyere Darko (KOD): NDC spokesperson for Culture and Tourism, who highlighted the importance of cultural identity in national development.
Rex Omar: NDC spokesperson for Creative Culture, who emphasized the need for a supportive environment for creatives.
Nii Armah Amassah: Representing Hon. Dr. Otukornoh, who underscored the need for unity in the creative sector.
Engaging Communities and Building Momentum
The organization has already begun a regional door-to-door campaign to connect with voters and share their vision as they prepare to launch again their National Campaign in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Mr. Koduah called on all creatives to engage their communities and inspire those around them, emphasizing the importance of vigorous campaigning to ensure their message resonates widely.
