Former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, has expressed strong support for Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang’s candidacy as Ghana’s first female Vice President.

In an interview on Metro TV’s “Good Afternoon Ghana,” Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo urged Ghanaians to back Professor Opoku-Agyemang, describing her as an experienced leader capable of driving the country towards progress.

He emphasized her ability to effectively represent and advocate for teachers and the education sector if elected.

Using a metaphor, Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo encouraged voters to choose a skilled former driver over a careless driver’s mate.

He praised John Mahama for selecting a female running mate for the second time in Ghana’s history, highlighting its significance.

Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo called on Ghanaians to vote for the John and Jane ticket of the NDC, emphasizing the need to continue the infrastructural development initiated by Mahama.

He believes that if Ghanaians had given Mahama another four years in power, he would have significantly transformed the country.
