Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has admonished the people of Ghana to vote massively against the New Patriotic Party.
He says several investors he has met have told him they are looking at the electoral results for the 2024 elections before they decide to invest in Ghana.
John Dramani Mahama says these investors are aware of the economic mismanagement under the current government and will not risk sinking their funds into the country under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
“A vote for the NPP again will be a third term for Nana Akufo-Addo and it will send a signal to the rest of the world that we are happy, we are satisfied with what has gone on over the last eight years.
I have met several investors and all of them are saying they are waiting to see the results of the election before they come and invest their money here in Ghana. So we should not make a mistake with this particular election. It is an election like no other. The stakes are higher and it will determine the future of our country.
John Dramani Mahama has been in the Upper East Region where he started his campaign ahead of the 2024 election.
The former President has given a strong indication that the NPP government will be held accountable for the suffering of the masses in their eight years in power.
