Former President John Dramani Mahama, the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will begin the first phase of his 2024 campaign tour from the Upper East Region on Saturday, August 3. He will be in the region for four days.
The tour is meant to foster personal connections with the electorate and understand their needs, a statement issued by the campaign secretariat said.
According to his spokesperson, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, this year’s campaign strategy will focus on smaller events, community engagements, and targeted activities.
Mr Mahama is committed to leveraging his experience as a leader to promote the NDC’s development agenda and canvass support from Ghanaians, Joyce Bawah Mogtari stated.
The campaign tour is expected to take Mr Mahama to various parts of the country, where he will engage with citizens and share his vision for building a better Ghana.
