Actress Mercy Asiedu has encouraged her colleagues in the creative art sector to vote massively for John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking at an event organized by John Dramani Mahama to collate views from persons in the creative space on what the NDC needs to do for their industry if they come back to power, Mercy Asiedu said:
“When he was President, he made us feel good and helped some of us who could not afford cars get cars. So what we have heard here is we should support him so that he can help the creative arts,”
The celebrated Kumawood actress believes that if Mahama becomes President again, creatives will be advantaged because he understands how the space works and the need to motivate people in there.
Mercy Asiedu has contributed to the growth of the movie industry. She is known for the role she played in Concert Party and the popular movie ”Asoreba”.
She is also known as being one of the popular Kumawood actresses starring in several roles in the 2000s.
