President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Tamale South MP, Haruna Iddrisu, as the Education Minister-designate.
The much-awaited ministerial nominations also featured Asunafo South MP, Eric Opoku, as Food and Agriculture Minister-designate; Ketu South MP, Dzifa Abla Gomashie, as Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts Minister-designate.
National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Youth Organiser, Opare Addo, popularly known as, has been assigned to the Ministry for Youth Development and Empowerment, while Adaklu MP, Kwame Governs Agbodza, heads to the Ministry of Roads and Highways.
