Amasaman through Nsawam to Suhum in the Eastern Region is expected to become an industrial hub if the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Mahama, wins the 2024 election.

This falls under Mr. Mahama’s job creation agenda, where various firms will be given incentives to run a three-shift system in his 24-hour economy.

John Mahama made this known when he commenced his five-day regional tour in the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency.

The NDC flagbearer and his team will be touring various constituencies in the Eastern Region, where he is expected to listen to the plights of the constituents and also offer his solutions.

John Mahama is hoping to increase his electoral fortunes in this region, which will contribute to his success in the December polls.

Speaking to voters at Nsawam and Ayensuano, Mr. Mahama revealed plans to make the area attractive for industrialization.

The former President expressed concern over the deteriorating roads in these constituencies, which have caused extreme discomfort to commuters, especially since the government announced a “Year of Roads” initiative.
