The presidential candidate of the opposition, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, will hold a media event on July 7, 2024.

The media encounter is the first in a series of similar media encounters the former president will be having with journalists across the country.

A statement issued and signed by his campaign spokesperson, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, said the meeting will afford Mr. Mahama an opportunity to share his vision with the media before the December 7, 2024 general elections.

“This major engagement with journalists the first in a series of similar encounters that Mahama will have with the media before the December elections. It is an opportunity for him to share his vision for Ghana’s future and address important national interest issues.

The forthcoming media encounter, a testament to Mahama’s unwavering commitment to transparency and dialogue with the people of Ghana, recognizes the crucial role of the media.

He firmly believes that an open and interactive conversation with the media is vital in equipping the Ghanaian people with the information they need to make informed decisions,” the statement said.
