The Northern Regional Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Madam John Charity appointed her contender, Hajia Adama Haruna to the Advisory Committee of the Regional Women’s Wing of the party on Sunday, February 11.
The announcement was made at an event in Tamale, where the national women’s organiser of the party and NEC member, Godfred Apasnaaba Wumbei were present.

Mr. Chairman, National Executives present, Regional Executives, Constituency Executives, Distinguished guests, Ladies and Gentlemen.
I deem it a great pleasure to stand before you this morning to welcome all of you to this memorable occasion. We are grateful to the almighty God for making this programme a reality.
As Women of integrity in the Northern Region we are poised for nothing but Victory for the National Democratic Congress come December 2024. Having it-at the back of our minds that there is a lot of work to be done, so we thought it wise to constitute and inaugurate the working committee to facilitate the achievement of the wing’s programmes.
