The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has settled on Winneba as the venue for the party’s manifesto launch for the 2024 general elections.
The party will launch its manifesto on Saturday, August 24, 2024. The event will take place at the “Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Auditorium of the University of Education, Winneba in the Central region.
The event will have in attendance, the flagbearer of the party, former President John Dramani Mahama who is the Special Guest of the occasion.
The party’s National Executive Committee members, members of the Council of Elders, Members of Parliament, Parliamentary Candidates and an array of distinguished guests from the Diplomatic Corps, Clergy, “Nananom”, Civil Society Organisations, Academia, Labour Organisations, Creative Arts, among others will also be in attendance.
The National Communications Officer of the party, Sammy Gyamfi in a statement said “various speakers will address the nation on thematic areas of the NDC’s transformational vision for resetting and building the Ghana we want.”
He said all media houses who intend to deploy reporters to cover the event are entreated to contact the National Communications Bureau of the NDC for necessary accreditation.
