The National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Sunday, March 17 organized a training workshop for the Upper East and North East Regional Communication Teams in Bolgatanga and Nalerigu respectively.

The training formed parts of efforts of the party to recapture power in the 2024 general elections, National Communications Officer Sammy Gyamfi said.

He described the training as “very successful and impactful.”

He said attendees were equipped with the necessary information and skills required for the effective communication of the messages of the great NDC towards the 2024 general elections.

“As we recently did for Communication Officers in the Bono region, I had the privilege to present a brand new motorcycle to each of the twenty-one (21) Constituency Communication Officers in the Upper East and North East regions and two (2) brand new laptops for both regions.

“This we believe will enhance the mobility of our communication officers for the effective dissemination of the party’s messages ahead of the 2024 general elections,” Mr Gyamfi wrote on his X platform.

He added “Sincere appreciation to the MP for Tamale South, Hon. Haruna Iddrissu, MP for Bolgatanga Central, Hon. Isaac Adongo, MP for Pusiga, Hon. Laadi Ayii Ayamba, Comrade Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Comrade Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe, Comrade Malik Basintale, Comrade Ako Gunn, Comrade Beatrice Annangfio, Comrade Brogya Genfi and all other Resource Persons for their insightful presentations.

“Above all, we are grateful to our father, flag-bearer and the incoming President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama for his continuous support and guidance for the Communications Bureau and the party as a whole. ”
