Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2024 Manifesto Planning Committee, Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor, has stated that Ghanaians are ready for change.
In his view, former President John Dramani Mahama did a lot for the country during his tenure and is poised to do even more.
“We know that next year will be difficult, but Ghanaians are resolved for change, and they are calling on Mahama to come back to power,” Dr. Otokunor said.
In an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday, he pointed out that even members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), including their flagbearer, continue to mention Mahama’s name.
To him, Mahama’s legacy remains evident.
“Everything that the current president, Akufo-Addo, is commissioning was started by Mahama. When Mahama is voted back into power, he is ready to continue from where he left off” he said.
Dr. Otokunor assured Ghanaians that when Mahama becomes president again, all the suffering will cease.
“We urge Ghanaians to look at their lives and make a wise decision. Vote for a good leader who will save the country from the mess it is currently in under the Akufo-Addo government.”
He strongly urged voters not to support Dr. Bawumia for president.
