Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Buem Member of Parliament, Daniel Kwesi Ashaimah, has described the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a of liar and arrogance.
He stated that the two people the ruling NPP settled on are not credible personalities who should be given the opportunity to even get to the corridors of power.
Appearing on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, he said Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a certified liar with questionable integrity, whereas his running mate is arrogant and disrespectful.
Leaders, he asserted, must be credible, competent, decent, and accountable.
But these traits cannot be seen in the two candidates representing the NPP.
He has therefore advised Ghanaian voters to be careful not to vote for the NPP, or they will regret it.
“I am humbly appealing to Ghanaians to vote out the incompetent NPP. The way they are grabbing state assets is alarming and dangerous for Ghana. That is why I am asking voters to vote them out. We cannot vote for a liar and an arrogant person. The NPP ticket today is lies and arrogance. Bawumia is a liar, and NAPO is also arrogant, he added.
On the issue of the challenge Bawumia has thrown to former President John Dramani Mahama for a debate, he slammed him as described as insincere.
He has therefore challenged him to come and debate him (Ashaimah) and Mr. Isaac Adongo.
“It is the candidate’s discretion whether or not to debate. But, as Bawumia has previously advised Mahama, before coming to debate the NPP, he should first debate his people and why he has failed to deliver on his promises, and then come to confront Mr. Mahama.
