A lot of wrong things have been done by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for which they must be held accountable, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Former President John Dramani Mahama has said.
Knowing this, the NPP is determined to escape accountability hence their resolve to ensure that Dr Bawumia wins the 2024 general elections, he said.
Mr Mahama however said the NDC will win the elections to hold the NPP accountable.
“Bawumia cannot investigate his own government he was a part of, the reason the NPP is desperate to hand over government to him,” he said as he wrapped up his four-day campaign in the Bolga Central constituency of the upper east region.
“They are desperate to have [Bawumia] so that they will escape accountability, that is not going to happen,” he stressed.
