Deputy Director of Elections for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mahdi Jibril, has pooh-poohed the manifesto launch by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He stated that the ruling government promised economic stability, more job opportunities for the youth, and a move from taxation to production, but has done the opposite of all they promised.
He said they are the same people who peddled lies about former President John Dramani Mahama to win power with the hope of transforming lives, but the living conditions have worsened.
Mahdi Jibril said it is also surprising that the Vice President, who is part of the mess, is campaigning as if he is a member of the opposition.
Speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, he indicated that the figure on job creation has even become a challenge with appointees of government delivering different figures.
He said Ghanaians gave the NPP an opportunity to serve this country well, but they have missed that opportunity in delivering on their mandate.
He assured Ghanaians that the NDC will not lie because they have planned this and will provide better leadership.
On the issue of coding and training for youth in ICT and providing persons living with disabilities with free tertiary education, he said these and many other promises plagiarised by the NPP were contained in the 2020 manifesto of the NDC.
He appealed to Ghanaians to vote massively for the NDC because it will deliver on all promises made.
