Mahdi Jibril, NDC Deputy Director of Elections, forecasts a historic win for the party in the upcoming elections, garnering an unprecedented percentage of votes, notably in the Ashanti region.

Mahdi Jibril revealed that the party’s efforts have resulted in considerable accomplishments, enabling it to secure a record number of votes in the Ashanti region, an area historically aligned with the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He declared, ‘God willing, the party will achieve the highest vote tally in the Ashanti region,’ anticipating a decisive outcome.

Mr. Jibril, speaking on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM’s Frontline program, acknowledged the value of research while underscoring the NDC’s relentless focus on winning the upcoming elections.

He cited the current economic difficulties, unemployment, and related challenges as crucial in shaping electoral outcomes. Mr. Jibril also observed that voters’ living conditions will significantly influence their electoral choices, transcending the impact of polls and research findings, by December 7, 2024.

He said the NDC will also protect the votes of the NDC and prevent anyone from rigging the elections.

He was of the view that the people are fed with this inadequate administration for the mismanaged, unpredicted levels of corruption.

‘’Even in the background of the NPP, we will garner more votes. I agree we have polls conducted by research firms, but the bottomline is that the Ghanaian voter will be the one to determine who he or she would vote for. The people have made up their minds, and as a party, we will protect Mahama’s votes and ensure that the will of the people is protected,’’ he added.
