The Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson says the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has corrupted the moral fibre of this country and must be shown the exit.

The lawmaker noted that the NPP has delivered crude and painful haircuts across board while adding that they have also delivered the ‘Agyapadie’ state-captured plan.

He underscored the need for Ghanaians to unite and vote against the NPP out of office considering the mess they have created.

‘’Let me say, fellow countrymen and women, that the time has come for us to come together and restore and reset our country. This government has unleashed unprecedented hardship on us. This government has been reckless and insensitive, and we are struggling to survive. There are unprecedented levels of unemployment. Our young people are jobless. They complete school without any hope of securing a job. Our humble appeal to you voters is to vote them out. They are incompetent, clueless, and cannot resolve our challenges. You have to join us in voting them out because if we don’t, the levels of hardship will worsen.’’

He made the remarks while addressing a gathering at the manifesto launch of the NDC on Saturday, August 24, 2024.

‘’If you talk about a party that is compassionate and thinks about the welfare of Ghanaians, then that is the NDC party. We are appealing to you to support us to reset and restore Ghana because Ghana is on the brink of collapse. We have to unite and take back our country from the hands of the NPP so they will not destroy this country,’’ Dr. Forson stressed.
