The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has urged Ghanaians to vote for change in government in this year’s general elections.
He expressed the view that the youth of Ghana don’t have four years to waste under a New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.
In a Facebook post, Mr Mahama said ” The youth of Ghana don’t have four years to waste! We must vote for Change on 7th December to Build the Ghana we want Together.”

On Saturday, July 27 when he launched the NDC campaign in Tamale, he said that the National Democratic Congress would protect the ballot in the 2024 general elections to ensure that the will of the people is reflected.

He urged all members of the NDC to be vigilant during the elections on December 7.

“We are prepared to protect the votes,” he said during the launch of the NDC’s campaign in Tamale on Saturday, July 27.

Mr Mahama further said that he would be truthful to Ghanaians at all times.

He says he will not tell the people what he cannot fulfill.

“I will be truthful to you, I will never tell you lies,” he said. Mr Mahama further said that change is calling Ghana in the 2024 general elections.

To him, the problems that have been created need new hands to solve them, not the very people who caused them.

“We solve problems with the same people who caused the crisis,” he said.

He added “it is not going to be easy, the more I look at the situation it is even worse than what the govt is telling us, it will take hard work and cooperation of the whole country”

He further assured Ghanaians that he would be truthful to them at all times.
