The National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s National Youth Organiser has urged the Electoral Commissioner and her other officials to reverse any decision to rig the elections in favour of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
George Opare Addo says the NDC will protect the ballot and deliver a resounding victory for the people of Ghana.
He warned that the NDC is prepared to face squarely anyone who has an agenda to rig the elections.
“My last message is to the Electoral Commission. Madam Jane Mensa, come December 7th, and any other officer who is given the opportunity to go to any polling station, we are not asking anybody to cheat for the NDC; we are very confident that we are winning the elections. But woe unto any man born of a woman who would dare go to any polling station and do the untoward, we will face them squarely. Let me mind you; we were in Assin North, and we protected the ballot, and we will protect the ballot at the peril of our lives on December 7th.”
He said Ghanaians are looking for a Ghana where our aspirations will be met, and that can only be delivered by former President John Dramani Mahama.
He therefore challenged the party and its supporters not to leave any stone unturned by protecting the ballot and ensuring a resounding victory for not only the party for the country.
