The Zongo Caucus of UK and Ireland Chapter, extends its sincerest congratulations and profound gratitude to all who participated in the momentous demonstration across the nation dabbed; “Enough is Enough.”

The profound dedication and involvement in the Enough is Enough demonstration is a powerful testament to the shared commitment to ensuring a transparent, fair, and credible electoral process in Ghana. By demanding an audit of the electoral register, we collectively, have unequivocally voiced the urgent need for a system that upholds the principles of democracy and protects the integrity of our elections that allows us to express the will of Ghanaians in the impending December 7th 2024 elections.

Ghanaians have, by embarking on the Enough is Enough demonstration shown a crucial devotion to the addressing of the challenges we face, including illegal voter transfers and any attempts by the ruling government to manipulate the electoral process. It is imperative that the Electoral Commission (EC) hears and heeds this call for transparency and accountability. The tremendous steadfast with which Ghanaians participated in the demonstration do not only highlights the raised issues but also reinforces our collective resolve to demand a system where every Ghanaian can freely and fairly choose leaders in the upcoming election.

Henceforth, the Zongo Caucus sounds the clarion call by inviting all Ghanaians, both at home and abroad, to continue applying relentless pressure on the EC to uphold the highest standards of electoral integrity. Let us remain vigilant and engaged, ensuring that our call for credible elections is not only heard but also, acted upon fairly.

Ghanaians want the EC to be assured that the citizens shall persist in our advocacy for a democratic process that truly reflects the will of the people and safeguard our fundamental right to vote, have our votes accurately counted to reflect our true will. As a nation, we refuse to allow the EC to derail the progress of the nation with election related conflict. Our passion and dedication to a better future shall continue to drive us to collectively push for a better and more just electoral system. Our forefathers withstood the might of the UK to achieve our independence and we shall do same to guarantee a better future for our succeeding generation.

The Zongo Caucus expresses profound appreciations to All Ghanaians for the exhibition of valour, commitment and unwavering dedication to the success of our mother Ghana.

The NPP has decided to make our journey to a free, fair and transparent election, tumultuous. They have tested our resolve and we have satisfied with our unflinching resilience on our pursuit of achieving the democracy that our nation deserves.

Together, we are building the better Ghana that we and our future generations deserves.

Long Live Mother Ghana.
Long Live the NDC
Long Live the Zongo Caucus.
