A member of the Zongo Caucus Coordinators, Alhaji Nurudeen Hamidan has expressed optimism that the NDC’s efforts to engage and support Zongo residents would translate into a resounding victory at the December 7 polls.

The former Asokore Mampong Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) stated: “We have worked tirelessly to connect with the Zongo community and address their concerns.”

According to him, NDC is keen to capitalize on its strong grassroots presence and outreach initiatives to secure a decisive win in the upcoming elections.

Addressing a gathering of NDC faithful in the Zongo community, in the Ashanti Region Hamidan emphasized the importance of unity and hard work in securing a triumphant outcome.

“We are confident that our efforts will yield a sweeping victory for the NDC in these areas,” Alhaji Nurudeen Hamidan stressed

He also admonished the crowd to eschew bitterness and instead, focus their energies on canvassing for votes and promoting the party’s message of hope and development.

“We must work together to achieve victory, Let us put aside our differences and unite behind our shared goal of building a better future for all Ghanaians,” he stated.

Hamidan’s rallying cry was met with enthusiastic applause and cheers from the crowd, who pledged their support for the NDC’s campaign.

The event was part of the NDC’s ongoing efforts to mobilize support in the Zongo communities, a key constituency in the upcoming elections.
